time to reflect, time to change
The QCoP is accredited by the BPS's Division of Counselling Psychology (DCoP) and is in the process of validation by the Health Professions Council (HPC). Please see below for the link to the QCoP web pages for further information and relevant downloadable documents:

Many people who decide to enrol on QCoP have already much experience in an allied profession (which may be able to be accredited if at least M level, as well as a psychology degree (offering GBR as a basic starting point).

JCL offers the availability of Chartered Counselling Psychologists (BPS) / Registered Counselling Psychologists (HPC) having a role in your further training within QCoP as follows:

  • co-ordinator of training (CoT)
  • clinical supervisor of your practice
  • research supervisor
  • personal therapist.

We can offer these possibilities due to the diverse network of psychologists we have available, most of which are Chartered Counselling Psychologists and therefore eligible for these roles (subject to formal validation by the DCoP Registrar on behalf of the Board of Assessors). Some of these are listed on this site

Venues are as listed in Sussex currently and Central London from September/ October. We may have additional sites available as further colleagues join us @ JCL.

Please contact us for further information about how we can support your professional development towards chartership as a counselling psychologist.
